![]() sometimes with reverb, i hear songs people have produced that are using reverb that i can't think how they managed to get. ![]() but i find at other times it's tough to get nice reverbs for acoustic with something else like say sonnox reverb. the reverbs packaged with guitar rig, seem well designed for this. i also recorded lots of stuff using a mic and that's no good to run through an amp sim, so i may leave them as is, but i find the tone is lacking a little in fullness in a nice round bottom, i've tried many micing positions, and using a pickup is a little better, but that brings me to something else as well, i sometimes have issues with reverbs as well, find a nice reverb for acoustic guitar. i have messed around mostly with pre recorded stuff to see how an amp sim affects it, and i often prefer the tone the amp sim will get me, but it's easy to get too electricky. My space is real loud so mics suck for me. i have trouble finding the perfect amp setup that won't electrofy my acoustic. i just want to be able to get that on my computer without micing a real amp. real amps in real life give great sound with acoustic guitars. but i find that it won't be the same awesomeness as when i plug my acoustic guitar into a real amp. i do have pickups for it, and i do use reverbs. ![]() I've gone the mic route, but i find that mics don't givec a nice full bass tone.
